2017 Round Table Series

Six Finalists and semi-Finalists from the first two years of the Emerging Playwrights Program were selected to take part in our first Round Table Series for new and unproduced scripts in New York City.

Over three months, participants each received a table reading of their play by professional actors, as well as feedback from their fellow writers and a special industry guest. Among the producers and dramaturgs giving their advice and criticism were Kimberly Loren Eaton ("The Velocity of Autumn") and Tony-winner Greg Nobile ("A Gentleman's Guide to Love and Murder").  It is our hope to expand this series in future years, and to continue to provide talented writers with developmental opportunities so their plays can grow and be seen by a wider audience.

2017's Round Table writers were: Dana Leslie Goldstein ("Daughters of The Sexual Revolution"); Jessica Hinds ("Legally Obtained Firearms"); Sean Pomposello ("The Woodpusher"); Deneen Reynolds-Knott ("Baton"); Allan Staples ("The Norse"); and Andre Thierry ("Setting Sun").
